SNCR Injection Lances & Atomizing Nozzles

PetroNOx SNCR systems utilize specially designed injection lances and atomizing nozzles to ensure optimum reagent distribution and NOx reduction performance across a wide range of industrial applications. The injectors are designed with a wide turndown ratio of up to 1:10, providing excellent operational flexibility over varying boiler loads and process conditions.

A standard injector is typically rated for a maximum reagent flow of 180 lph and is available in low-flow, standard-flow, and high-flow configurations to suit the specific process requirements. For applications where the injector is exposed directly to the combustion environment, the use of compressed atomizing air is mandatory to ensure proper atomization, cooling, and reliable operation.

For industrial boilers and utility applications, the injector tip is manufactured from specially selected high-temperature resistant steel alloys, as the nozzle tip typically protrudes approximately 150 mm inside the refractory lining and is directly exposed to high furnace temperatures. In contrast, for cement kiln applications, the injector tip generally remains flush with the refractory hot face.

The injector assembly, together with its mounting tube, is specifically designed for easy installation between membrane wall tubes, allowing installation in areas with a tube pitch of ≤ 25 mm. The standard injector outside diameter is approximately 17 mm, minimizing the required wall opening and simplifying retrofit installations.
